The 13th Annual Washington Area Theatre Community Honors (WATCH) were celebrated with an award ceremony held at the Birchmere in Alexandra, Virginia on March 17th, 2013.

In a story brimming with adolescent angst, love, and rebellion, Albert Einstein High School created a retro, rock-and-roll riot that left audiences with the urge to get up and jive.
Time is running out to catch this important work — the show runs one more weekend. As was evidenced by the number of audience members weeping and hugging at the end, it will be well worth your time!
Like its characters, who ultimately seek a life that, if not perfect and normal, is next to normal, the current Reston Community Players production, though not without flaws, is next to excellent.
I can guarantee you will have fun if you make time to see Over the Tavern.
From the funky Flying Monkeys to the magical witches to the Yellow Brick Road, St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School’s jovial, fervent production of The Wiz certainly gave audiences much to smile about.
With its mature themes and incredibly dramatic and meaningful text, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is a daring feat for high school students to attempt.
