If you’d like us to review your show, please invite us. Obviously we can’t go to every show, so on those weekends with more performances than dates, we give preference to theaters that (1) advertise with us, (2) have invited us, (3) are performing a show we haven’t seen before, or (4) are at a theater we haven’t been to recently. Just send us an email or call us. If your show is opening later this year, it can’t hurt to invite us now! We’ve completed a rough draft of our schedule through Memorial Day. In early May, there are 13 shows opening, but only around 6 opportunities to see those shows.

These are the shows we’re planning to review this week, weather and health permitting.

March 6: The Secret Garden, Little Theatre of Alexandria, Alexandria, Virginia (rescheduled from last week due to illness – bleck!)
March 7: Steel Magnolias, Fauquier Community Theatre, Warrenton, Virginia
March 8: Play It Again, Sam, Chevy Chase Players, Washington, DC
March 9: The Winslow Boy, Aldersgate Church Community Theater, Alexandria, Virginia
March 9: A New Brain, Kensington Arts Theatre, Kensington, Maryland

No Reviews for Last Weekend

Laura and I were both sick last weekend, so we ended up missing all three shows we had planned on seeing. Hopefully we can do an interview with the director or a cast member of the shows. We had planned on seeing:

Sweeney Todd, Kensington Arts Theatre
Morning’s At Seven, Silver Spring Stage
The Foreigner, Laurel Mill Playhouse

So if you were able to see one of these shows this weekend, leave your thoughts here and share your impressions. Our voices are mostly back to normal, so we should be good to go for Memorial Day weekend shows.
