Spotlighters Theatre The Last Five Years

By • Mar 7th, 2013 • Category: Maryland, Reviews

For spectacular, visually arresting technical theater and virtuosic, athletic movement, look no further than Synetic Theater’s production of The Tempest.

Victorian Lyric Opera Company Iolanthe

By • Feb 25th, 2013 • Category: Maryland, Reviews

The Olney Theatre Center’s production of Spring Awakening is simultaneously charming and mortifying.

Damascus Theatre Company Cabaret

By • Feb 20th, 2013 • Category: Maryland, Reviews

With a combination of poor direction and egregious miscasting, Damascus Theatre Company’s Cabaret lamentably fails to deliver on too many levels to deem worthy of a recommendation.

Taking Flight Theatre Company The Fox On the Fairway

By • Feb 18th, 2013 • Category: Reviews, Virginia

Taking Flight Theatre’s The Fox On the Fairway had potential and at times some humor, but overall did not live up to the past high standard that they have been known to bring to Loudoun County.

Cadence Theatre Company Sons of The Prophet

By • Feb 17th, 2013 • Category: Reviews, Virginia

There are just not going to be enough superlatives to describe the performances. Each actor adds to the three dimensionality of the family dynamics.
